Blue Beautification
Scattered along the roadsides of Texas are sprinklings of bluebonnets, partly thanks to Lady Bird Johnson's Highway Beautification Act of 1965. Daily drives along these highways served as the initial inspiration for this collection. Although dominantly blue, these flowers also bloom in various shades of pink and white, allowing the genesis of the maroon "Alamo Fire" colorway. With their unique bonnet shaped petals, we wanted to honor the state flower of Texas through our applique design.

Stitch Free
Using a traditional hand-stitching technique called needle-turn applique, the applique edges are tucked under the fabric itself, hiding the outer stitches from view. With up to 20 applique pieces stitched onto each shirt (dependent on the design), the creation process is a true labor of love.
